How to repair a PDF

Download the rebuilt PDF.
Open it and check that the pages you need are still there.

Repair rewrites the PDF structure. It does not invent missing pages. If the download still will not open, the original is too damaged. The upload is deleted when the response is sent. The limit is 15 MB.

Will every broken PDF open after this?

No. A rebuild fixes some structure problems. Missing or truncated page data cannot be restored.

Is the file stored?

Only for this request. It is deleted when the download is sent.

Does repair remove a password?

No. Use Remove a PDF password if you know the password.

What is the size limit?

15 MB, and 8 requests every 10 minutes.
